Hall of Fame 2009
The National Football Museum Hall of Fame 2009 awards took place across the country.
On Thursday 10th September at the Hilton Hotel in Manchester awards were presented to two of the greatest teams and two of the greatest managers of all time, all with a Manchester connection.
On Wednesday 23rd September at Plaisterers' Hall in London awards were presented to this year's addition to the roll of honour of the greatest players of all time.
The Inductees for 2009, were as follows:

Frank Swift
Female Player: Marieanne Spacey

Note. Inductees into the Hall of Fame must have ended their career or be at least 30 years of age and have played / managed in England for 5 years or more. Teams must have played more than 25 years ago.
Presenter for the awards was again Clare Tomlinson. A programme showing highlights of the awards was broadcast on Sky Sports on 28 and 29 September.
