Event Series Event Series: Hot Prospects

ABOUT THIS ACTIVITY

Discover the joy and power in making your own football-themed zine!

Zines, also known as fanzines, are self-published booklets to share your passions, interests and especially your heart. Paloma will lead participants in a session where we’ll talk a bit about the history of fanzines in football, and you’ll have a chance to then create your very own zine. These zines will be on a variety of topics, including a response to some of the National Football Museum’s collection of historic football objects.

No materials or experience necessary — just bring yourself and some curiosity!

HOT PROSPECTS CREATIVE WORKSHOPS

The National Football Museum is looking to team up with young people from the Greater Manchester area to explore the links between football and creativity via a series of free artist-led workshops.

On Monday evenings and Saturday daytimes, the museum will play host to in-person sessions. We will exploring how art can harness the creative power of football. You can sign up for one, or all, whatever takes your fancy!

Following on from these workshops, you will be invited to apply to Hot Prospects, our first ever youth advisory group.
