The Football Writing Festival is returning to Manchester this month.
Now in its ninth year, every one of the festival’s five talks will be hosted at the National Football Museum from Monday 19 September to Tuesday 27 September. The festival will feature a range of writers, journalists and industry experts, with former players also providing unique insight across the week.
Panelists confirmed for the festival include the New York Times’ Chief Soccer Correspondent Rory Smith, the Guardian writer Suzy Wrack, author Carrie Dunn and writers from Mundial and When Saturday Comes. Lionesses legend Kerry Davis, Arsenal stalwart Paul Davis and former Manchester City defender Nedum Onuoha will be providing players’ perspectives throughout.
