Museum Set For Royal Visit

The National Football Museum is set to welcome the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as part of a Royal visit to Manchester.

The visit, on the morning of October 14, will see the Duke and Duchess beginning their visit to Manchester at the museum, home to the world’s greatest collection of football items and stories.

The museum will host a reception with some of Manchester’s brightest and best young people, before the Duke and Duchess enjoy a tour of the galleries.

Prince William, the President of The FA is known to be an Aston Villa supporter and a keen football fan. The National Football Museum’s extensive collection helps to tell the story of how Association Football spread throughout England, and the world, to become the global game.
