Goal Click landscape v2

Dive into a world where every voice matters, where every story can make a difference.

Introducing Goal Click Heard, a special live spoken storytelling event brought to you by Goal Click and Heard Storytelling, in collaboration with the National Football Museum.

This intimate and powerful event will spotlight real and raw spoken stories, revealing the real-world impact of football beyond the pitch. Showing how the sport builds community, drives social change, and inspires creativity and cultural expression. Hear from an inspirational line up of specially curated storytellers, sharing their lived experience without any filters.

Please note that stories contain strong themes which are not suitable for children.

Panelists for the early evening talk include:

Martin Ingham-Griffith: the Head of Community Engagement at the Premier League Charitable Fund, and the strategic lead for the PLCF’s Young Voice.

Lauren Kennedy: a transwoman who plays as a goalkeeper for Manchester Laces and other teams in the Alternative Football (AF) League, and volunteers for Ball Together Now and Clothes Rumble. She also coaches the Laces’ beginners team.

Sam Kershaw: a filmmaker and content producer from Manchester, whose work celebrates the power of grassroots football and its impact on society.

Debra Nelson: a practitioner and presenter in women’s football, and the first woman to join Football Beyond Borders before working with them. Debra was also named on the Football Black List in 2022.
