The National Football Museum is proud to announce that we have achieved an exceptional score of 95% in this year’s VisitEngland Quality Assurance Scheme (VAQAS) assessment – an impressive increase from last year’s 90%.
VAQAS is VisitEngland’s official quality accreditation scheme for visitor attractions, similar to the star rating system for hotels. This accreditation is a trusted mark of excellence, demonstrating that our museum has been independently verified by the national tourism authority as offering a consistently high standard of service and visitor experience.
The VisitEngland Quality Scheme celebrates excellence across tourism businesses of all sizes, from family-run guesthouses to world-renowned museums. Attractions are assessed across 20 different categories, and successful participants are awarded the prestigious VisitEngland Quality Rose Marque.
