
Football is for all, and so is the National Football Museum. We offer a wide range of community events and activities to inspire and engage all our visitors.
Using our unique collection of football object and archives, our communities team bring the stories of football to life, through interactive workshops and creative activities.
We offer a seasonal programme of family activities and museum events throughout the year, so make your you check our What’s On guide before your visit.

Baby: Active sessions
Our youngest visitors can get in the game with our monthly Baby: Active sessions!
Join us in the museum’s Discovery Zone for a fun, free session, designed to get your babies moving. This is specifically designed for birth to pre-walking babies.

Baby Pitch Play sessions
You can drop in with your pre-walking baby for our fun, sensory play sessions which support babies’ physical development and social skills.
Booking not required but is recommended.

CITC: City Play Together
Get your toddlers kicking and moving with our friends at City in the Community!

Sporting Memories
Sporting Memories is for older sports fans (50+) to meet and chat about the beautiful game. Everyone’s welcome to take part and share their memories about amazing players, great games or match-going-anecdotes.
The group currently meets every other week on Wednesdays 10.30am – 12pm at the museum.

Adult Learning
We offer tailored sessions to suit adult learners, with a wide range of themes and topics that use the power of football connect and educate.

Classroom Hire
You can hire our classroom for your own sessions, seminars or presentations. Situated on the fourth floor, the classroom is self-contained with a 75-inch screen for presentations, wi-fi and flipchart. There is also a separate breakout space and toilet facilities.
